    ABSTRACT

Hypersensitivity pneumonitis is a common interstitial lung disease that develops after exposure to various antigens and affects lung parenchyma and small airways. Clinical differentiation from other interstitial lung diseases is difficult in patients whose exposure history cannot be clarified. Radiological evaluation and multidisciplinary approach are critical. The disease is classified into fibrotic and non-fibrotic types based on the onset and course of clinical findings and evaluation of radiological findings.

Keywords: Hypersensitivity pneumonitis, fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis
