ABSTRACT
Septic arthritis is one of the most important orthopedic emergencies caused by pathologic intraarticular inoculation of infectious agents. Any destructive arthritis should be accepted as septic arthritis until proven otherwise. Early diagnosis and treatment would be effective on the mortality and morbidity. In this review, clinical and radiological findings of septic arthritis and differential diagnosis will be discussed.
