ABSTRACT
Musculoskeletal infections may present with non-specific symptoms and radiologic findings, which may cause difficulties in diagnosis. Radiological imaging characterizes the pattern of the underlying infectious pathogen in spondylodiscitis and sacroiliitis, guiding early diagnosis and treatment and reducing the likelihood of sequelae. In this article, radiologic evaluation of spondylodiscitis and infective sacroiliitis and their possible complications will be reviewed.
